On the grand stand
The grand stand will be crowded when so many people are on the same spot. Children are more than welcome but please note that the grand stand can be a bit difficult for the smallest children since sight might be constricted by people in front of them and there is a lot of noise.
We recommend a baby carrier for the smallest children and tickets are required for children that will stand on their own. We recommend that children have ear protection.
There will be no public parking available around the arena. Please consider public transportation options as described above.

Dress warmly! Even if the temperature is on the plus-side the snow on the slope and the humidity adds to the cooling effect. We warmly recommend you put on long underwear, beanie, warm gloves, a warm jacket and above all - warm and solid shoes that keep the heat on cold surface.
The race course consist out of two courses, one red, one blue. The athletes compete one against one and each heat consist out of two runs - one in each course. If both athletes win one race each in a heat, time difference decides who wins but an athlete can bring a maximum of 50/100 from the first race. The winner goes on to the next round.
